This beautiful 1964 Guild Mark II classical guitar was built in the original Hoboken, New Jersey factory, before Guild moved production to Westerly, RI. The Mark II was part of Guild’s early nylon-string line, known for its warm tone, solid craftsmanship, and timeless mid-century design.
This particular example plays comfortably with a balanced, resonant voice — clear trebles and a rounded low end typical of Guild’s early classicals. It has been lovingly maintained over the decades and remains a charming, stage- or studio-worthy vintage piece.
