DANIEL WILLIAMS, OWNER

Daniel Williams is the owner and lead technician of Williams Music Company, a full-service band instrument repair shop based in Mooresville, North Carolina. Founded in 2021, Williams Music Company proudly serves school band programs, educators, and musicians throughout Mooresville, Concord, Charlotte, and the surrounding communities.

Daniel received his formal training in band instrument repair at Minnesota State College Southeast in Red Wing, Minnesota, where he studied under John Maddox, Greg Beckwith, and John Huth, earning his Diploma in Band Instrument Repair in 2020. Following graduation, he moved to Beaufort, South Carolina, where he worked at Hamner Music as a Band Instrument Repair Technician and Store Manager.

In addition to his formal education, Daniel has apprenticed and worked alongside respected technicians in the repair community, including Melody Choplin (Winston-Salem, NC), Jaime Hamner (Beaufort, SC), and Jim Gleason (Florence, SC). He later returned to North Carolina and served as the Band Instrument Repair Technician at Sam Ash Music before opening Williams Music Company full-time.

Daniel is an active member of the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians (NAPBIRT) and the Percussive Arts Society (PAS). He is committed to providing reliable, high-quality repair work and supporting the success of local band programs through education, service, and long-term partnerships.
